After graduating from Kalamazoo College I worked as a systems analyst at EDS on GM accounts in Ypsilanti, Southfield and Troy. After 6 years of the inside an office building, fast-passed work world I took a break and moved out West to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I'm still here. For the past 15 years I've been an outdoor guide, instructing and guiding xc skiing here in Steamboat in the winter and biking/hiking guide in the US and Europe (mostly Italy) in the summers. Five years ago I met my husband, Clay, while guiding him and a group on a hiking trip in the Italian Dolomites. We settled in Steamboat Springs and I continue to guide, but closer to home (Tetons, Colorado, Montana). We love the outdoors together - xc skiing in the winters and hiking and biking in the summers. Our next trip (May 09) is a 13 day bike tour along the Blue Ridge Parkway (DC to Gatlinburg) so we're trying to get in shape for that between snow storms. We don't have kids, so I've taken up coaching to get my kid fix. I coach the High School cross country ski team in the winter. I get back to Ann Arbor at least once a year to visit family. Peter lives in Grand Haven and my mom is still in Ann Arbor, Dad lives in Brighton.
