I went to college at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, then law school at the University of Arizona. I then moved to Pasadena, CA for a year; then Miami, Florida for a year; then Washington, D.C. for three years; and finally settled in Denver, Colorado in 1995. I met my husband Steve in January 1997, and we got married in November 1997. He is a chemist, but since 2000, when our daughter Sylvia was born, he's been a stay-at-home dad who takes great care of our kids. I work full-time as an employment/labor lawyer for a private law firm in Denver.
Our daughter, Sylvia, is 18, and just finished her first year of college. She is attending college in China at Duke Kunshan University. Our son, Nathaniel, is 14, and is eager to get his learner's permit this summer. Our niece, Bianca, who came to live with us at age 12, is now 26 and works in Denver.
My mom passed away ins 2012, which was a very hard loss. My dad, who used to teach at Forsythe and Pioneer, lives in Denver, and is 84, and he keeps in touch with some of his former students!
I am going to try to make the reunion in August as I haven't been to a reunion since our 10 year one! I miss you all, and love keeping in touch with at least some of you on Facebook.
